Air Jordan 29

Touted as ‘the world’s first woven basketball shoe’, Tinker tagged in some new and familiar faces to help design the Air Jordan 29. Long time collaborator and Jordan Brand Creative Director Mark Smith and Tiffany Beers helped the AJ29 come to life, building on what the Air Jordan 28 brought. The AJ29’s Flightweave upper is thicker and reinforced in high wear and high stress areas and provides ventilation and no break in time, a hooper’s dream. Jordan Brand fixed the issues with the Zoom Air units popping in the AJ28, using a redesigned Flight Plate to help stabilise the unlocked Zoom unit in the forefoot.
