Zoom Fly

Born out of Nike’s drive to break the two-hour marathon barrier, the Zoom Fly saw the Swoosh bring the Breaking2 initiative and the technology of the Zoom Vaporfly 4% to the masses. After debuting with a translucent prototype-inspired SP release from NikeLab, the GR edition of the Zoom Fly debuted in June of 2018 and featured a sleek Flywire-reinforced upper of engineered mesh. The real highlight, however, was the sole unit, which not only featured a 10mm offset to minimise Achilles strain and a 33mm stack height for impact protection, but came with a carbon-infused nylon plate embedded in its Lunarlon foam midsole for propulsion.
