Tiger Woods and Nike’s partnership concluded after 27 years last month. Now, the American professional golfer is starting a new venture with  TaylorMade Golf, a California-based sports equipment manufacturing company.

'This transition suits my current stage,’ Woods stated at a Sunset Boulevard event earlier this week. On top of collaborative apparel, the duo have unveiled a Sun Day Red golf shoe, which is an ode to Woods’s 15 major championships. Additionally, the new Sun Day Red lifestyle brand represents the athlete’s mantra of working hard and playing hard and is also inspired by his mother, who wears red on Sundays.

The design of the shoe itself arrives in a minimal colour scheme with black being the primary shade. A line of red is added to the midsole, while the outsole arrives in white with a red translucent layer on the bottom. The ‘Sun Day Red’ hit near the rear and heel embossed graphic round off the model.

Woods’s Sun Day Red Golf Shoe will be available online on May 1 alongside the apparel offerings. Stay tuned while we wait for official price information.
