Wider Release: Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R 'Medusa Azul' And 'Rosewater'
Action Bronson's New Balance 1906R 'Medusa Azul' and 'Rosewater' 1906R colourways will be getting a wider release on July 12, as per a LinkedIn post from NB's Brand President and Chief Marketing Officer Chris Davis. So far, END. have confirmed that they will be receiving the blue pair in stores, but retailer info is yet to follow for the pink. Both pairs are expected to drop at New Balance, while the 'Scorpius' colourway will not see a restock. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in!

Update February 5, 2023: Action Bronson still isn’t done teasing his next collection of 1906Rs, as he’s now given us a fresh new look at his 'Medusa Azul' colourway. Boasting a series of blue and orange tones, the caption suggests that the colourway takes inspiration from deadly jellyfish. What really stings is that we’re still waiting to hear when these will drop, but stay locked for more info as it comes in.
Update January 30, 2023: Action Bronson continues to tease his upcoming New Balance 1906R collection, officially debuting the 'Rosewater' colourway. A release date is still not set for any of the three iterations revealed, but stay locked to Sneaker Freaker to keep updated.
Update January 12, 2023: Having recently revealed his collaborative NB 1906R in a ‘Scorpius’ colourway, Action Bronson has confirmed that a ‘Medusa Azúl’ pair is also on the horizon. A little like his ‘Lapis Lazuli’ 990v6, the pair comes decked out in a selection of blue tones, while orange accents add extra pops of colour. There’s no word on a release yet, but stay locked for more info as it comes in.
Update Jan 5, 2024: Action Bronson has teased the 'Scorpius' colourway of his upcoming New Balance 1906R collaboration. Bronsoliño rocked the sneaker at Paris Fashion Week last year and is giving similar vibes to his 990v6 'Balkava' colourway. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker as we await more details and info on the upcoming 1906R.
Update December 28, 2023: After teasing his upcoming New Balance 1906R colab yesterday, Action Bronson has shown off the sneaker in full. In addition, looks like the young ones are getting in on the fun as Bronson showed off pairs in kids' sizing.
Update December 27, 2023: Following his collaboration on the New Balance 990v6 and telling Sneaker Freaker more is on the way, Action Bronson has teased his New Balance 1906R colab on Instagram. Dubbed the 'Rosewater' colourway, earthy and loud colours contrast each other on the mesh runner. Expect the sneaker to drop in 2024 with a few other colourways as well.
When to earlier this year he told us: ‘I’ve been wanting to work with for a long, long time. So I’m going to make the most of it. I got a lot more coming’. Fresh off two colourways that have since become classics, Bam Bam has just teased a possible colourway while working out in Venice Beach.
New Balance’s 1906R model has been blessed with a plethora of heater collaborations throughout 2023. Kicking things off were multiple crisp linkups, followed by the – a favourite for Taylor Swift. For Dr. Baklava’s possible iteration, he’s decked out the upper in a tonal blue, bolstered with eye-catching midsoles and specialised tongue branding.
